13 4C Standard Horizontal Mailboxes 4C Standard Mailboxes – Essex Series (4C-Std-E) 4C Standard Mailboxes are constructed of heavy gauge aluminum with stainless steel components for maximum durability both indoors and out with a shelter. Corrosion-resistant, weatherproof powder coat finish protects the units from the elements, while the riveted shelves and concealed hinges limit pry points for extra security. These features helped the units pass rigorous USPS security tests. The carrier access door provides easy access for Postal Letter Carriers to release the master loading doors. Tenant doors meet the new compartment minimum size requirement of 3”H x 12”W x 15”D. Most units meet the USPS requirement for 1:10 parcel locker to tenant compartment ratio, and meet the USPS 4C requirements which comply with ADA standards. COMMERCIAL MAILBOXES Units feature the new USPS-1172 910A lock and include 3 keys. All units include a weather protected receptacle for outgoing mail; an optional rain drip shield at the top of the unit is also available. The Essex Series includes 4 units that are available in front load (rear load special order only). Per the USPS, the 4C Standard Mailboxes are mandatory on all new construction and major renovation projects as of October, 2006. # of # of Model # Tenant Doors Parcel Doors RO Width Actual Width Actual Height Weight A N1029450 13 0 301⁄2” 311⁄2” 281⁄2” 86 lbs.
